As you all know, New Hampshire and Vermont took a heavy beating of wind and rain from Hurricane Irene on Sunday. With the terrain in New England, some communities were effected more than others. Those areas that suffered the most damage did so due to the rising of lakes and rivers and the flooding that ensued during and after the peak of the tropical storm.
